You are invited to celebrate National Salvation Army Week!
Captains Jeff and Debbie Richardson and the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army in Grand Island would like to invite you to attend their Annual Appreciation Dinner on May 15, 2008 during National Salvation Army Week. The program will commence at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room of the Grimminger Center 818 W. 3rd (at the corner of 3rd and Eddy). Come and help us say 'thank you' to the many volunteers and supporters that make it possible for us to run the Feeding Program, Food Pantry, Men's Emergency Shelter, Thrift Store, and the various other Social Service Programs. Our speakers this year will be: Sue Pirnie and Dr. Steve Joel, Grand Island's Woman and Man of the Year respectively. We also have some wonderful entertainment and a delicious meal planned for the event. Major Merle Heatwole the Divisional Commander of the Western Division of The Salvation Army will also be in attendance.
